Jacobson: Palin Can’t Win ≠ Palin Shouldn’t Run

Once again John Ziegler, who initially supported Sarah Palin with his video “Media Malpractice:  How Obama Got Elected and Palin was Targeted”, manages to embrace himself more than his common sense.  Yes, John.  Your advice to Palin is not advice, it’s got “you, and only about you” written all over it.  William Jacobson, of Legal Insurrection, plumbs the two inches of Ziegler’s depth:

Ziegler: “There’s also the fact that Sarah’s entire operation is increasingly managed like a CIA field office; that she’s adopted a bunker mentality; that she’s trusting the wrong people, some of whom I know are simply exploiting her.”

Uh, John, is going out on a bus tour, making videos, greeting hundreds of supportive and not so supportive people along the way, while dealing with the LSFM’s inane, and endlessly repeated attempts to exploit any negativity about the governor to their advantage — that’s a bunker mentality?”

William Jacobson nails it with this parting shot:

“The Ziegler article in many ways demonstrates what is wrong with the Republican Party today.  It is too reactive to the mainstream media, seeks to impose its vision on the Republican electorate, and when all else fails, resorts to smear and innuendo against someone who has endured more than any other potential candidate under consideration.”  Are you listening Tucker?

Patriots, it’s time to fire up the engine…

"I join commonsense conservatives in endorsing Richard Mourdock to be the next Senator from Indiana. Conservatives of all stripes are uniting behind Richard Mourdock. It’s not just Indiana that benefits from sending the right Senator to serve for the right reasons; the nation as a whole benefits, and that is one reason why the eyes of so many around the nation are focused on the Indiana race."
