Conservatives 4 Palin is reporting today that former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin is planning (unconfirmed) on attending Teen Challenge, in Missoula, Montana on September 12, 2010.

Teen Challenge is a faith-based recovery services organization that helps teenagers deal with life's problems through Christian values.

The event, called "Take a stand for God, Country and Family", according to Mark Holyoak from Channel 8 KPAX, is "tentatively scheduled for Sunday, September 12th, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Missoula. Tickets go on sale later this week at the Garden of Read'n bookstore and Teen Challenge. Only 16-hundred tickets are available and 200 of them are already sold."

We think Governor Palin has all the right moves going into 2010, particularly in her speaking engagements that support faith-based community initiatives. Teen Challenge has been around since 1958, and has had an 86% success rate nationally for many years. Although it may gag some progressives that Christianity actually has a positive side, without faith in something we are left to ourselves in this crazy world. Faith, however small, can lead to big changes in one's life.

No, really. Haven’t you heard? Sarah Palin is an idiot. At least that is the conclusion one would reach if the mainstream media and entertainment industries were the only sources of information about the Republican candidate for Vice President of the United States.

And if those were your only sources of information, you would also have to come to the conclusion that she is not a feminist, and given the fact that she’s pursued a career while raising five children, she can’t possibly be a very good mother. And according to some of the brightest thinkers on the left, she is very boring, but still quite dangerous. Even some of the snazziest dressers on the right have declared her “a joke”.

Sarah Palin According to a recent report from Conservatives 4 Palin, Meg Stapleton, Palin’s spokesperson, has confirmed to Fox News yesterday, that Governor Palin will be traveling to Hong Kong to speak at the 16th annual CLSA Investors’ Forum.

CLSA released a press release on her attendance yesterday, in which they talked up her accomplishments. CLSA Chairman and CEO Jonathan Slone said: “As the first female governor of Alaska and the youngest person ever elected governor of that state, Palin has broken new ground in US politics and we are delighted that she will make her first visit to Asia to present at the CLSA Investors’ Forum…”

Stapleton also confirmed that the Washington Speakers Bureau is now representing Governor Palin. Other notable speakers represented by the firm have included Rudy Giuliani, and Chesley B. Sullenberger, III, the “Miracle on the Hudson” Hero Pilot.
